RETAIL ACCESSIBILITY AND
INCLUSIVITY PROJECT
The Retail Accessibility Project was established under the UK Government's Healthy Ageing Challenge. Its aim was to provide support to retailers in gaining a better understanding of the evidence surrounding healthy ageing and inspiring action. The 18 month project was spearheaded by Pyewackett and Sacke, who worked in close collaboration with retailers, academics, and stakeholders. The project also sought to demonstrate the commercial viability of focusing on this area.
